Kuala Lumpur, 20 July 2026 – The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, IJN University College (IJNUC), successfully organised the forum titled “How Can AI Change Daily Practice During PCI – Focus on QCA and Beyond”, highlighting the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in cardiovascular healthcare and medical education.
The forum featured Professor Kim Yong Cheol from Yonsei University Hospital, South Korea, who shared his expertise on the integration of AI into Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), with particular emphasis on Quantitative Coronary Angiography (QCA) and its expanding role in enhancing clinical decision-making, procedural accuracy, and patient outcomes.
The event brought together healthcare professionals, academicians, students, and industry representatives to explore the latest technological advancements shaping the future of cardiovascular care.

Through its strategic collaboration with Medipixel (South Korea), IJNUC was recognised for achieving the First Educational Collaboration to Introduce a Clinically Deployed AI Coronary Angiography Analysis System to Bachelor-Level Cardiovascular Technology Students.
