About the Programme
The Foundation in Arts is a comprehensive one-year pre-university programme designed to prepare students for successful progression into undergraduate studies across a wide range of disciplines.
The programme offers a balanced curriculum that integrates fundamental subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Students are introduced to core subjects such as psychology, law, management, economics, accounting, marketing, mathematics, critical thinking, academic writing, and information technology providing them with a solid foundation for higher education.
Upon successful completion, graduates may progress to a wide range of bachelor’s degree programmes subject to the respective programme entry requirements.

Entry Requirement
LOCAL STUDENT
i. Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with minimum five credits including Mathematics/ Additional Mathematics and Sciences; OR
ii. Pass O-Level with minimum Gred C in five subjects including Mathematics and Sciences; OR
iii. Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with minimum Grade B in three subjects; OR
iv. Other equivalent qualifications

Graduates of the Foundation in Arts programme may pursue undergraduate studies in various disciplines, including:
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (Honours)
- Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Technology (Honours)
- Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
