24 June 2026 – IJN University College (IJNUC) successfully continued its Educational Trip to Institut Kesehatan Mitra Bunda (IKMB), Batam, Indonesia, with a series of professional workshops aimed at enhancing students’ practical skills, promoting academic excellence, and strengthening international collaboration.
On the second day of the programme, participants attended two specialised workshops that provided valuable hands-on learning experiences and encouraged cross-border knowledge exchange between students and academic staff from both institutions.
The first session featured a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Workshop, conducted by Mr. Eddy Abd Raub, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and Lecturer for the Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Technology (Honours) programme at IJN University College. The workshop equipped participants with essential life-saving skills and highlighted the importance of emergency response in healthcare settings.
The second session, Cosmetic Formulation and Manufacturing, was delivered by Tommy Julianto, a lecturer from Institut Kesehatan Mitra Bunda (IKMB). Participants gained valuable insights into cosmetic product formulation, manufacturing processes, and current industry practices, providing them with broader exposure to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Both workshops were attended by students from IJN University College and Institut Kesehatan Mitra Bunda, creating an engaging platform for collaborative learning, cultural exchange, and professional development.
