6 April 2026 – IJN University College (IJNUC) has officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF), marking a significant milestone in strengthening academic collaboration and advancing higher education in Malaysia.
The strategic partnership reflects a shared commitment between both institutions to enhance academic excellence, promote research initiatives, and create meaningful opportunities for students and faculty members. Through this collaboration, IJNUC and UCSF aim to expand their institutional capabilities while contributing to the development of future-ready graduates.
The scope of the MoU includes a wide range of collaborative activities, such as the enhancement of academic and research development, promotion of student and staff exchange programmes, and the organisation of joint conferences, seminars, and professional training initiatives. In addition, both institutions will actively engage in knowledge sharing and innovation-driven activities to further strengthen their academic ecosystems.
The MoU signing ceremony was officiated by Professor Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of IJN University College, and Datuk Dr. Rafiq Idris, Vice Chancellor of University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF). Their leadership reflects the strong commitment of both institutions towards fostering impactful and sustainable academic partnerships.
This collaboration is expected to create a dynamic platform for intellectual exchange, enhance the quality of education, and broaden opportunities for students and academic staff across both institutions.
