In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, IJN University College (IJNUC) organised a Bubur Lambuk Distribution Programme as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to share the spirit of giving and strengthen community ties.
The meaningful programme was further enhanced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of IJN University College, Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, who joined staff members in preparing and supporting the distribution activity.
The preparation of bubur lambuk began at 10.00 AM and continued until 2.00 PM, with enthusiastic participation from IJN University College staff who worked together to ensure the success of the programme. The activity reflected the strong teamwork and commitment of the IJNUC community in spreading kindness during the blessed month of Ramadan.
At 2.30 PM, the bubur lambuk distribution commenced to several organisations and locations around Kuala Lumpur, including Sekolah Kebangsaan Jalan Raja Muda, Maybank Bangunan Yayasan Kampung Baru, Wisma PERKESO Kuala Lumpur, IPD Sentul, and IPD Dang Wangi, as well as other nearby institutions.
The distribution continued at 3.00 PM to members of the public at the Ramadan Bazaar in Kampung Baru, Titiwangsa, Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, and surrounding areas, allowing the community to share in the blessings of Ramadan.
This initiative demonstrates IJN University College’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, while promoting the values of compassion, unity, and generosity. Through programmes like this, IJNUC continues to play an active role in contributing to society and strengthening relationships with the surrounding community.
