26 January 2026 — IJN University College was honoured to receive a visit from the Institut Latihan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (ILKKM), involving a delegation of 60 students, as part of an educational exposure programme to Malaysia’s leading healthcare academic and clinical environment.
The visit provided students with the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art facilities at IJN University College as well as the Institut Jantung Negara (IJN). Through guided tours and briefings, participants gained firsthand insight into the integration of academic learning with real-world clinical practice in specialised healthcare education.
The programme was further distinguished by the presence of Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, Vice-Chancellor of IJN University College, who warmly welcomed the delegation and emphasised the institution’s commitment to nurturing future healthcare professionals through industry-relevant education.
In addition, Ts. Dr. Noreen Ang Azlan, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, delivered an informative session highlighting the comprehensive facilities and the range of academic programmes offered at IJN University College. The session also focused on career pathways in allied health sciences and the importance of hands-on learning within a clinical ecosystem.
This visit reflects IJN University College’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with key healthcare institutions and to provide meaningful learning experiences that prepare students for the demands of the healthcare industry.
