On 19 August 2025, IJN University College (IJNUC) and Nephrocare Management Sdn. Bhd. officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster collaboration in renal care services and healthcare education initiatives.
The MOU was signed on behalf of IJNUC by Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of IJNUC (represented by Registrar Mohd Helmi Daud), while Dato’ Suib Bin Ahmad signed on behalf of Nephrocare, accompanied by Special Officer Fathin Norshafiqah Zulkefly.
Established in 2020, Nephrocare Management Sdn. Bhd. has rapidly grown to operate 20 dialysis centres across Malaysia, serving more than 600 patients with the support of over 150 dedicated healthcare professionals.
This partnership marks an important step in aligning academic excellence with clinical expertise, with the aim of:
- Enhancing renal care services in Malaysia
- Creating opportunities for student engagement in real-world healthcare settings
- Developing joint education and training initiatives for the healthcare workforce
Through this collaboration, IJNUC and Nephrocare are committed to empowering healthcare education and improving patient outcomes, ultimately making a positive impact on the Malaysian healthcare landscape.
