23 June 2026 – IJN University College (IJNUC) successfully conducted an educational visit to Institut Kesehatan Mitra Bunda (IKMB), Indonesia, reaffirming its commitment to expanding international academic partnerships and enhancing global learning opportunities for both students and staff.
The visit marked an important milestone in fostering stronger institutional collaboration between IJNUC and IKMB through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This strategic partnership aims to promote academic excellence, research collaboration, student and staff mobility, and the sharing of best practices in healthcare education.
As part of the programme, delegates from both institutions participated in an International Symposium, International Joint Lectures, and a series of Professional Workshops. These sessions provided valuable platforms for academic discussions, professional knowledge exchange, and collaborative learning among healthcare educators, practitioners, and students.
The IJNUC delegation consisted of 11 academic and non-academic staff members and 19 students representing various healthcare programmes, including:
- Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Technology (Honours)
- Bachelor of Science in Cardiovascular Technology (Honours)
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (Honours)
- Diploma in Medical Health and Sciences
- Diploma in Nursing
Throughout the visit, students gained first-hand exposure to international healthcare education practices, broadened their academic perspectives, and strengthened their intercultural communication skills. The experience also enabled academic staff to exchange expertise, discuss innovative teaching approaches, and explore future collaborative initiatives with their counterparts at IKMB.
The educational visit reflects IJN University College’s continuous efforts to produce globally competent healthcare professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and international exposure required to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving healthcare industry.
