10 March 2026 – IJN University College organised a meaningful Ramadan initiative through a Bubur Lambuk distribution programme, followed by a breaking of fast (iftar) session with students, fostering a spirit of unity, compassion, and togetherness within the campus community.
The Bubur Lambuk distribution activity was part of IJN University College’s community engagement efforts during the holy month of Ramadan. Staff and volunteers worked together to prepare and distribute the traditional Ramadan dish, symbolising generosity and care for the surrounding community.
In addition to the distribution activity, IJN University College also held a breaking of fast (iftar) gathering with its students, providing an opportunity for students and staff to come together and share the blessings of Ramadan in a warm and harmonious environment.
The event was further enlivened by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of IJN University College, Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, who joined students and staff during the iftar session. Her presence reflected the institution’s commitment to fostering a close-knit and supportive campus community.
Programmes such as these highlight IJN University College’s dedication not only to academic excellence but also to nurturing strong values of community, compassion, and unity among its students.
Through initiatives like the Bubur Lambuk distribution and iftar gathering, IJN University College continues to strengthen relationships within the campus community while embracing the meaningful spirit of Ramadan.
