Kuala Lumpur, 23 January 2026 — IJN University College successfully organised an Israk Mi‘raj talk titled “Psychology in Building Identity from the Teachings of Israk Mi‘raj” at the IJNUC Auditorium, Selangor Foundation Building, Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur.
The programme aimed to highlight the relevance of Israk Mi‘raj in shaping personal identity through the integration of psychological understanding and spiritual values. The event provided participants with meaningful reflections on how Islamic teachings can guide individual character development, resilience, and moral strength in contemporary society.
The talk was delivered by Tuan Haji Mohd Noor Ikhram, Head of the Psychological Services Section, Kajang Prison. Drawing from his extensive professional experience, he shared valuable insights on identity formation, behavioural development, and psychological well-being, linking these concepts to lessons derived from the event of Israk Mi‘raj.
The programme was further honoured by the presence of Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, Vice-Chancellor of IJN University College. Her attendance underscored the institution’s commitment to nurturing holistic education that balances academic excellence, psychological well-being, and spiritual growth.
