IJN University College successfully carried out its first collaborative educational activity between the Bachelor in Cardiovascular Technology (BCVT) and Bachelor in Nursing Science (BNS) programmes, supported by students from the Advanced Diploma in Coronary Nursing (ADCN). This initiative marks a significant step in strengthening interdisciplinary learning, clinical awareness, and professional development among healthcare students.
A total of 42 students (8 BCVT, 29 BNS, and 5 ADCN) participated in the visit to the Anatomy & Pathology Museum, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The visit offered an enriching and immersive learning experience, where students had the rare opportunity to engage directly with real anatomical and pathological specimens. This hands-on exposure deepened their understanding of human anatomy, disease processes, and the clinical relevance of pathology in patient care.
The session provided valuable insights that strengthened students’ academic foundations, enhanced critical thinking skills, and promoted a deeper appreciation for multidisciplinary collaboration—an essential component of modern healthcare practice.
IJN University College extends its heartfelt appreciation to the UKM team for their exceptional guidance, warm hospitality, and for providing a highly impactful learning environment. Their support played a key role in elevating the overall educational experience for our students.
This collaborative effort reflects IJN University College’s commitment to developing future-ready healthcare professionals equipped with strong clinical knowledge, practical competencies, and a spirit of teamwork across disciplines.
