A proud milestone was achieved as 29 Patient Care Assistant (PCA) students sponsored by Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Sembilan (MAINS) and Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak (MAIPk) successfully completed their studies at IJN University College.
These dedicated students have now embarked on their next chapter, securing permanent employment at Columbia Asia Hospital and iRehab. Their success marks a meaningful step forward in empowering underprivileged communities through education and skills development in the healthcare field.
The completion ceremony was officiated by Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, Vice Chancellor of IJN University College, and Tuan Mahadi Ali, Director of the Zakat Department, MAINS.
In her address, Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus expressed her heartfelt pride in the students’ journey and achievements:
“Today is a very meaningful day for all the children of the poor, whether from Negeri Sembilan or Perak. Through this PCA programme, they not only change their family’s future but also learn to stand strong and become independent in shaping their own destiny.”
IJN University College extends its sincere appreciation to Columbia Asia Hospital and iRehab for their collaboration and continued support in providing employment opportunities to graduates of the PCA programme.
This initiative reflects IJN University College’s commitment to producing competent, compassionate, and career-ready healthcare professionals while strengthening ties with industry partners and community organizations.
