Oct 10, 2025

10 October 2025 – In conjunction with World Mental Health Day 2025, IJN University College organized an insightful forum titled “Preserve Our Mental Health; Break the Bullying Cycle!” to promote awareness of mental well-being and the importance of addressing bullying in educational and social environments.

The forum featured two distinguished panelists:

  • Dr. Kogivalan a/p Rajendran, Psychology Officer at Tengku Budriah Cheras Children’s Home
  • Prof. Zubaidah Jamil Osman, Consultant Clinical Psychologist at IHH Healthcare and MSU

The event drew the participation of 150 IJN University College students, particularly those from the Diploma in Psychology programme. Through this session, students were encouraged to reflect on the impact of bullying and explore strategies to maintain positive mental health in their personal and academic lives.

This initiative underscores IJN University College’s continuous commitment to fostering a supportive and mentally healthy learning environment. By organizing educational and awareness-driven programmes, the university college aims to empower future healthcare professionals with the knowledge and empathy needed to champion mental health advocacy in society.
