27 September 2025 – The Healthcare Management Club of IJN University College carried out a rewarding volunteer program at Zoo Negara Malaysia, where 12 students had the unique opportunity to serve as zoo keepers for a day.
The students actively participated in daily zoo operations, including animal care, enclosure maintenance, and environmental management. This meaningful activity not only strengthened their sense of responsibility and teamwork but also instilled awareness of wildlife conservation and the importance of protecting Malaysia’s biodiversity.
Through this initiative, the Healthcare Management Club demonstrated its commitment to volunteerism, community engagement, and sustainability, aligning with IJN University College’s mission to nurture well-rounded graduates who contribute positively to society beyond the classroom.
This hands-on experience also provided students with valuable lessons in leadership, discipline, and service—qualities that are essential in both healthcare and broader community efforts.
