Diploma in Pharmacy Students Participate in World Heart Day 2025 at IJN

Sep 18, 2025

18 September 2025 – IJN University College proudly joined the World Heart Day 2025 celebration, organised by the National Heart Institute (IJN) at its main lobby. The event was part of a global initiative to promote heart health awareness and encourage healthier lifestyles among the community.

Representing the University College, our Diploma in Pharmacy students contributed to the event by organising a series of interactive and educational activities designed to highlight the importance of cardiovascular health. Among the activities conducted were:

  • 🧩 Puzzle Challenge – promoting critical thinking while learning about heart health.
  • 🎲 Snake & Ladder – a fun, interactive game with a health-awareness twist.
  • ✏️ Crossword & Calories Games – combining knowledge and lifestyle education.
  • 🎨 Coloring Activities – engaging participants of all ages in creative learning about heart wellness.

These activities not only engaged the public in enjoyable ways but also emphasised the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle, balanced nutrition, and regular physical activity to maintain a strong and healthy heart.

World Heart Day, marked annually, is a reminder of the global burden of cardiovascular disease and the need for continuous education and awareness. IJN University College remains committed to preparing students who are not only academically excellent but also socially responsible, contributing actively to health promotion initiatives.
