17 September 2025, Kuala Lumpur – In conjunction with World Heart Day 2025, students from the Diploma in Medical and Health Sciences program at IJN University College actively participated in a series of educational and interactive activities held at the IJN Lobby.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy heart and adopting preventive measures against cardiovascular diseases. Among the highlights of the day were:
- Lifestyle Promotion: Students shared practical tips on adopting healthier habits, including diet, exercise, and stress management, with a focus on long-term heart health.
- CPR Demonstration: A live demonstration on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was conducted, equipping participants with life-saving knowledge and skills.
- Heart Health Quiz: An engaging quiz tested participants’ knowledge about cardiovascular wellness, encouraging fun learning while spreading awareness.
World Heart Day, celebrated annually, serves as a global reminder of the importance of cardiovascular health. Through these initiatives, IJN University College students demonstrated their commitment to promoting community health and reinforcing the college’s mission to nurture healthcare professionals who are not only skilled but also socially responsible.
