On November 14, 2023, the IJN College, fully owned by the National Heart Institute (IJN), made a courtesy visit led by YB Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkelfly Ahmad, Chairman of IJN Holding Sdn Bhd.
During the visit, IJN College presented a paper on current developments, directions, and plans for upgrading from a college to a university college. This initiative aims to strengthen the healthcare sector, particularly in the field of cardiovascular and cardiothoracic medicine.
By upgrading its status, IJN College seeks to play a more active role in developing talent and experts among the younger generation. Additionally, this upgrade will enable IJN College to focus more on national and global research and collaboration.
IJN College hopes that this courtesy visit will contribute to elevating the country’s higher education sector by producing more professionals in the healthcare service sector from the younger generation.
